Annette Moore

K4
Mrs. Annette Moore has worked at MCCS since 1999. She has worked as a K4 paraprofessional, as well as
helped start and taught a K-3 class at MCCS . She has served as Lead teacher for K4/ K5 classes, and currently teaches our K4 3/5 day class.She feels God has called her to teaching and it’s a ministry.
She is a member of Midway PCA Church.
She enjoys reading, shopping, loves nature and animals, especially her 18 year old cat, Zoey and her Yorkie-poo, Lucy.

Amanda Stallings

Kindergarten
For over ten years, Mrs. Amanda Stallings has served in ministry leadership roles focused on caring for and educating children.
She is excited to start at Midway. Kindergarten is one of her favorite ages to teach! Being a part of the first year of a student’s educational journey is such a huge privilege.
She has been married to my husband Kerry for twenty years, together they have two children. Their oldest daughter, Eve, will be starting college this fall and their youngest daughter, Lydia, attends Hillgrove High School. As a family, they love playing games, traveling and diving into deep discussions.

Kari Leth

Kindergarten
Mrs. Kari Leth-Bostwick is excited to join the team at Midway Covenant Christian School this year as a Kindergarten teacher. She is entering her third year of teaching and is passionate about helping young learners build a strong academic foundation while growing in their faith and love for Christ. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and is committed to creating a classroom where students feel loved, encouraged, and inspired to reach their God-given potential.

She is married to Chase Bostwick, and together they have a Goldendoodle named Hank, who keeps them entertained with his playful personality. Mrs. Leth-Bostwick has been a member of Due West Methodist Church for many years, where she has enjoyed serving in children’s and youth ministries. When she is not in the classroom, she loves spending time with family and friends and making memories on trips to Disney. She is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Midway community and looks forward to an exciting year of learning, growing, and serving alongside her students and their families.

Deborah Truchan

1st Grade
Mrs. Deborah Truchan has served as a first-grade teacher at Midway Covenant Christian School since 2014. She earned her degree in Behavioral Science and Social Work before returning to school a few years later to obtain her teaching certification in Elementary Education. Born and raised in Georgia, Mrs. Truchan married her husband, Mark, and together they have three beautiful daughters: Jillian, Sasha, and Zoe. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing at the beach, and loving on her fur babies. Mrs. Truchan is passionate about working with children and considers it a privilege to watch them grow academically and in their walk with Christ. She treasures the opportunity to play a meaningful role in each student's unique life story.

Chris Spicer

1st Grade
Mrs. Chris Spicer has been a first grade teacher at MCCS for 9 years, her favorite role. She has worked at MCCS since 2025 in several areas including kindergarten and middle school. Mrs. Spicer is married to her husband Keith and has 3 grown children and two grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, shopping, watching home makeover shows on television, and loves ice cream. Mrs. Spicer is a member of Mars Hill Community Church.

Diane Coleman

2nd Grade
Mrs. Diane Coleman has been teaching at Midway for approximately 14 years (nom consecutive). Mrs. Coleman has a Bachelor’s Degree from Brockport University at New York.  She met her husband, Mark in college and they have 4 adult children Phillip, Sarah, Rachael and Marykate.  Mrs. Coleman is also a Mimi to 4 grandchildren Julian, Charlotte, Nora and Madelyn. They moved to Georgia in 1999 and currently attend Mars Hill Community Church. Teaching the little ones to know God and trust God is her passion.  She believes that learning to read the Bible is the most valuable skill she can teach.  Additionally, Mrs. Coleman believes if a child loves coming to school, they will be able to learn and grow in a welcoming environment.  Mrs. Coleman embraces the Classical Christian education as it is a proven method of teaching children academics as well as Biblical values. Mrs. Coleman enjoys spending time with her family, reading and doing Bible studies.  Her newest discovery is watercolor painting! She even encourages her students to watercolor!

Zowie Checkwood

2nd Grade
Mrs. Zowie Checkwood is excited to begin her first year at Midway Covenant Christian School. She has worked with children since 2017 in both early childhood education and Christian education, serving in a variety of roles. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kennesaw State University and is passionate about creating a classroom where students feel loved, supported, and excited to learn. She believes that every child is capable of learning and enjoys helping students build confidence as they grow academically and spiritually.

Mrs. Checkwood has been married to her high school sweetheart, Nate, since 2017. Together, they have two children, Owen and Hannah, along with their beloved fur baby, Blu. Her family has been members of Living Hope Church in Kennesaw since 2024. Outside of school, she enjoys working out at Burn Boot Camp, training for her next race, and spending time with her family. She has completed several half marathons and countless 5Ks and is always looking forward to her next challenge.

April Cole

3rd Grade
Mrs. April Cole has worked at Midway Covenant Christian School in third grade for ten years. She have a Undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. She grew up in Roswell, Georgia and now lives in Hiram, Georgia. She have a wonderful husband, David of 22 years and two wonderful children. Her daughter is 20 and attends the University of Georgia, pre-law. (GO DAWGS!) Her son is 15 and attends Dominion Christian School. She loves teaching it is has been her calling since she was little. She love being able to teach children about our amazing Lord and Savior! When she is not teaching. she loves spending time with her family, going to UGA football games, cooking, and traveling.

Anna Montgomery

3rd Grade
Mrs. Anna Montgomery is a third grade teacher, and has worked at Midway Covenant Christian School since 2025. Mrs. Montgomery has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in elementary education. After teaching in other school settings, Mrs. Montgomery loves applying Biblical truth and connections throughout all content areas and watching students grow in their knowledge of the Word and wisdom. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking and baking, and being outdoors. The Montgomery family have been members of Midway Presbyterian Church since 2021.

Leigh Hankal

4th Grade
Mrs. Leigh Hankal brings 17 years of dedicated teaching experience to Midway Covenant Christian School, having spent 12 years in the Latin classroom and five years guiding fourth graders. Her family's history with MCCS dates back to 2000 when her oldest daughter started kindergarten, and all three of her daughters ultimately completed their K-5 through 8th-grade journey here. When on a break, she enjoys reading (especially on the beach), playing games, and traveling to visit family with her husband, Scott. Mrs. Hankal is deeply committed to cultivating both academic excellence and Christian virtue in her students as they discover truth, goodness, and beauty.

Jenna Cole

4th Grade
Ms. Jenna Cole graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2024 with a degree in Elementary Education. This will be her second year teaching but first year at MCCS. For the past couple of years, she has been a Kindergarten Paraprofessional and then a Kindergarten teacher for Cobb County. She loves investing in her students, and fostering an environment where they feel safe, feel comfortable taking risks, and growing.
Outside of school, she loves to spend time reading, walking with her mom, hiking, going to concerts, and spending time with her family.

Devin Lintault

5th Grade
Ms. Lintault is very excited to start her 19th year as an educator at Midway Covenant Christian School! She has previously taught at both the elementary level and at the middle school level in Cobb school systems. She has taught Phonics, Reading, Writing, Math, and Social Studies in both the general education setting; as well as, the special education setting in her time as an educator. Her inspiration continues to be her own 5th grade teacher, who modeled how curiosity ignites a lifetime of joy and learning. Everyday is a new adventure and opportunity to grow as scholars and followers of Jesus Christ in her classroom. She is a hands-on learning style teacher and her goal is to inspire a collaborative and creative problem-solving mindset amongst her class family. She believes faith in Jesus Christ integrated with the classical model of teaching will help us launch our students into a life of purpose and servant leadership. Ms. Lintault is originally from Dallas, Texas (insert Texas accent!) and a proud graduate of Texas A&M. She moved out here in 2001 and has made Marietta/ Kennesaw her home ever since. She has 2 sons, Christian (12) and Ethan (10) who attend public schools nearby. She attends Burnt Hickory Baptist Church. In her free-time, she enjoys creating floral designs, home decor, farm to table cooking for dinner parties, hiking, and adventures with her boys. She is looking forward to meeting all of the Midway families and being a part of this incredible community!

Riley Teed

5th Grade
Ms. Riley Teed started teaching at Midway in 2025, but her connection to the school and its community goes back further as a former student and teammate. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education and is currently pursuing a Master of Social work to deepen her commitment to supporting children and families. Ms. Teed loves working with students and helping them grow academically, personally, and confidently as learners. Outside of school, Ms. Teed enjoys reading, coaching volleyball, and staying active with friends. Returning to Midway as a teacher has been a meaningful full-circle experience, and she is grateful for the opportunity to invest in the community.

Middle School Teachers

Jamie Ross

Middle School History & Bible
Mrs. Jamie Ross has served at Midway Covenant Christian School since 2019 in several capacities before landing as the seventh-grade History teacher and middle school girls' Bible teacher.
Jamie was raised by parents who modeled hard work and service—her mother, who still works, as a nurse and her father an electrician. She earned a bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science and Dietetics from the University of Georgia before completing a master's degree in Nutrition Science at Georgia State University. She then spent 16 years working in pediatric healthcare, caring for children with chronic illnesses.
As her own family grew, Jamie felt called to the classroom. She began by teaching her own children and soon found her place at Midway, where she has the privilege of teaching the next generation. She is deeply committed to classical Christian education and delights in helping students see God's providence woven throughout Scripture, history, and their own lives.
Jamie and her husband, Matt, have three children, all of whom have attended Midway. They are active members of Midway Presbyterian Church. In her free time, Jamie enjoys exercising, reading, hiking, and traveling with her family.

Gary Harris

Middle School History & Science
Mr. Gary Harris will be starting his second year teaching science and history at Midway Covenant Christian School. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Georgia and has worked in the private sector in the automotive business for over 35 years. He also enjoys music, has served as a worship leader in a local church and in 2020 started a voice-over business where he records voice-over for commercial and private projects domestically and internationally. He is a member of Burnt Hickory Baptist church, where he attends with his wife of 36 years Julia. Gary and Julia have 3 adult children, Samual, Olivia and Laura.

Sue Biondolillo

Middle School Math
Mrs. Sue Biondolillo has worked at MCCS since 2016.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education and has worked in this field since 1996.  Mrs. B enjoys the classical approach to math and problem solving.  She has been married to Tom for 30 years and they have 4 children who all attended MCCS (Maria, Anna, Tommy and Tori). In her free time, Mrs. B loves to read and watch her children run XC or play soccer. She has been a member of Midway Presbyterian Church for 10 years.

Amanda Flanagan

Middle School Language Arts
Mrs. Amanda Flanagan is a Georgia native who graduated from Kennesaw State with a degree in middle grades education. Mrs. Flanagan started teaching at Midway in 2007 ( this year will her 20th)! She and her husband, Ken, have five children. Their oldest, Noah, graduated from Georgia Tech in 2025, but is continuing to pursue his master’s degree.
Liam, Lydia, Landon, and Leilani all attend Midway and enjoy activities such as wrestling, drama, chorus, band and more. As a family, they enjoy beach vacations, camping in West Virginia, and board games. Their family also includes Amanda‘s mother, Linda,  and their Shih Tzu puppy, Ozzy.

Jarrod Tepe

Middle School History & Bible
Mr. Jarrod Tepe serves as Midway's athletic director and teaches Bible and Government in the middle school. A United States Marine Corps veteran, he brings a passion for leadership, discipleship, and Christian education into the classroom and athletic programs.
Coach Tepe believes the purpose of Christian education is to cultivate wisdom, virtue, and a love for God's Word. Whether in the classroom, or on the athletic field, he desires to help students grow into young men and women who think biblically, serve faithfully, and pursue excellence for the glory of God.
He is married to Sarah, enjoys spending time with his family, and can often be found camping, motorcycle riding, working on projects, reading theology and history, or coaching students. He is a member of Midway Presbyterian Church.

Tonia Martin

Middle School Science
Mrs. Tonia Martin has worked at Midway Covenant Christian School since 2023. She has worked as a teacher assisting in Art, along with Middle School Physical and Life Sciences, History, and Life Skills. She is the current Beta Club sponsor. She has a Bachelor of Education in Biology and Masters in Educational Leadership degrees. She loves working and teaching at Midway and believes students will rise to the occasion if they are challenged. She is married to Stu Martin and they have two children, Maddie and Luke. She loves to take her dogs on walks and study God's Word in her spare time.

Kayla Holloway

Music
Ms. Kayla Holloway is a dedicated music teacher committed to helping students find and keep a love for music. With a Bachelor’s degree from Shorter University in Music Education and another in Music & Worship Leadership, along with extensive experience as a student conductor, music theory tutor, and mentor, she brings a well‑rounded musical background to every lesson. Her teaching blends clear technical guidance with creative, kinesthetic learning strategies that make musical concepts accessible for students of all ages. Known for her warm communication style and supportive classroom management, she helps students grow not only as musicians, but also as people. Her mission is to cultivate healthy habits, artistic curiosity, and a lifelong love of music in every learner. When she is not in the classroom you can find her singing in church choir, going to the movies, or reading a book at home. She is very excited for working with your students and for what this new chapter will bring.

Chelsea Seabrook

Latin
Ms. Chelsea Seabrook began her journey at Midway Covenant Christian School as a paraprofessional in 2023. The following year, she continued serving as a paraprofessional while also teaching Wilderness Wonderers. During the 2025 school year, she stepped into her current role teaching both Latin and Wilderness Wonderers. She holds a bachelor’s degree in History and is passionate about helping students develop a love of learning while growing in their faith and relationship with God. Outside of the classroom, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her two amazing children and pets, reading, and discovering unique treasures while thrifting. She is grateful for the opportunity to invest in the lives of her students and hopes to encourage each child to be curious, kind, confident, and rooted in Christ as they grow.

Kim Love

Art
Mrs. Kimberly Love has worked at Midway Covenant Christian School since 2025 as the Art Teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Art Education and has taught Art for over 20 years. She loves helping students see the beautiful world created by God. She loves working with students and helping them learn Art styles, artists and methods used throughout History and by many cultures.  She enjoys helping them find their own creativity through discovery of materials and concepts. Learning is found through applicable biblical teaching along with the structure of The Elements and Principles of Art. Mrs Love hopes to instill an inspiration for art creation and discovery in the beautiful world God has given us.

Mrs Love is widowed with 2 grown children Josh and Jordan. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, puzzling, drawing and painting.  She has attended and served at Life’s Hope Baptist Church since 2002.

Chris Burney

PE
Coach Burney has been at Midway for 2 years now. Along with PE he is also the Volleyball coach. He has been involved with youth sports for over 25 years. He also has 3 kids that he gets to see on a daily basis. He is truly blessed to have these opportunities.

Ed Elliott

Piano
Mr. Ed Elliott is beginning his third year at MCCS as a piano teacher. He has taught piano for 41 years, and taught music in public school for 29 years. He has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from North Georgia University and a Master's degree in the same from West Georgia University. Ed is also on the music staff at Macland Community Church.
       Besides reading, Ed's main hobby is travel. He's visited 12 European countries as well as Canada, Mexico, Kenya and the Caribbean.

Jenny Borders

Lower Elementary Parapro
Mrs. Jenny Borders has worked at Midway Covenant Christian School since 2023 as the Lower Elementary Parapro. She has enjoyed working with each student and getting to know them individually. She started working there because her son was in school at Midway, and she wanted to be more involved with the school.  When she's not in school, she enjoys spending time with family, going to the lake, and traveling.

Valenka Hollie

PE Parapro
Mrs. Valenka Hollie has been working at Midway Covenant Christian School since January of 2026. She has served as a teacher’s aide and cafe assistant. At her previous job, she enjoyed coaching gymnastics and competitive dance for 12 yrs. She loves the curiosity that children bring, along with their energy and enthusiasm for learning new things. She is married with 2 children, and a member of Midway Presbyterian Church. In her free time, she enjoys training jiu jitsu with her family, boxing, and car trips to various places around the U.S.

Kechia Magee

Kindergarten Parapro
Mrs. Kechia Magee has worked at Midway Covenant Christian School since 2022. Previously, she helped Mrs. Debbie in the kitchen part time and then went full time being a para for kindergarten. She loves her job and working with the best teachers and students everyday. She enjoys watching the students learn about the Lord with smiles; it is the best sight to see in person. She is married to Zach Magee and together they have 3 boys. Their oldest, Willis, went to Midway all of elementary and middle school and now is at Harrison. Their younger two, Everett and Isaac, still are attending Midway. In her spare time she love going to the beach and spending time with her family. Her family has been going to Midway Presbyterian Church since 2005 and became members in 2010!

Bethany Holloway

Lunchroom Assistant
Mrs. Bethany Holloway is so excited to be starting her journey here at Midway! She and her husband Kyle have 6 children, 3 of which have graduated from Midway, the oldest is a now a senior in high school, and the younger 3 are still in attendance, the youngest being in Kindergarten at Midway.
Prior to working at Midway she was a Preschool Bible teacher and stay at home Mom. Her education is in English and Biblical Studies and her passion is in travel and fitness. Their family loves to adventure to new places, hiking and swimming along the way. They are active members of our church and our community through sports.
She is so excited for this new chapter God has placed her in.  Ephesians 4:1, "Live a life worthy of the calling you have received."

Wanda Robinson

Tutor and K4 Parapro
Mrs. Wanda Robinson has been at MCCS since 2019. She has a BS degree in early childhood education from Kennesaw State. She has taught K3 and K4 as well as tutoring students in K4 through 6th grade while at MCCS. She feels younger students thrive and learn through exploration and play. She is married to her husband of 39 years, Harris. Together, they have 5 adult children and 6 grandchildren. She has been a member of Midway church since 2001.

Debbie Taylor

Lunchroom Coordinator
For the past 18 years, Mrs. Debbie Taylor has faithfully served the Midway community as our Lunchroom Coordinator, helping make our campus feel a little more like home each day. A member of Midway Church since 1999, she has a genuine heart for serving others and believes no one should ever go hungry. Whether she's preparing meals, greeting students with a smile, or making sure every child feels loved and seen, she brings joy and compassion to everything she does.

Beyond the lunchroom, she wears many hats throughout the school—from greeting the students in carline and keeping the staff caffeinated to catering special events and jumping in wherever she's needed. Her positive attitude, servant's heart, and willingness to help make her an invaluable part of the Midway family.

When she's not at school, she enjoys reading, playing cards with family and friends, and relaxing with a glass full of Diet Pepsi. No matter where you find her, chances are she'll have a smile on her face and be ready to brighten someone else's day.

Wendi Tarentino

Receptionist
Mrs. Wendi Tarentino begins her third year as the receptionist at Midway, though she’s been around Midway for quite awhile! Her Kids, Campbell (20 years old and attends University of Alabama in Huntsville) and Owen (17 years old and begins his senior year at Hillgrove High School) both attended Midway. Wendi is married to Reid, and together along with their two kids, they have two fur babies, Hooper and Hazel. In her spare time, Wendi enjoys fitness, watching her kids play their sports, and home improvement projects.
