The Midway PTF is a community of families working together to glorify God by supporting our school through service, encouragement, and connection.

We exist to:

• PROMOTE communication between parents, faculty, and administration, building a greater sense of unity and purpose.
• PROVIDE meaningful opportunities for parents to get involved and cultivate a school environment rooted in Christian fellowship, trust, and mutual respect.
• ASSIST in the development and implementation of programs that bless our staff, students, and families.
• GLORIFY God through our collective efforts to further His ministry at Midway Covenant Christian School.

2026 - 2027 PTF Goals

1. Collaborate with school administration and faculty to cultivate a strong, family-centered culture that reflects the values of our small school family.
2. Strengthen family engagement by fostering meaningful connections through volunteerism, participation in school-wide initiatives, and support of academic, athletic, and community programs.
3. Represent the collective voice of parents by serving as a liaison to administration and the School Board, ensuring that feedback is considered and decisions are made in the best interest of the school as a whole.

From Picture Day to Square 1 Art and outreach missions to teacher appreciation, many school events are led by PTF volunteers. If you have a servant’s heart, there’s a place for you here. Our PTF is only as strong as its members—we rely on the involvement of Midway families to bring our mission to life.

Our guiding verse this year reminds us of our calling: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its many forms.” – 1 Peter 4:10

Hi! I’m Whitney Cheek, and I’m honored to serve as your PTF president this year. My husband and I have been part of the Midway family for seven years, and we’re grateful for this Christ-centered community. I’m a stay-at-home mom to five wonderful “B” kids—Bailey (K), Blakely (3rd), Bella (5th), Brennan (7th), and baby Brooks. I love baking, decorating, and bringing joy to others. I’ve been actively involved in my children’s classrooms and various school activities, and I truly felt led to give back in a greater way through the PTF. Proverbs 3:5- 6 guides me daily, and I look forward to a great year of connection and service!
